Cincy Dance Studio, LLC is located in Madeira, Ohio and attracts dancers from all over the greater Cincinnati area. We offer two spacious studios for learning along with programs in a wide range of dance styles. The studios are also available for rental to dance groups, birthday parties and rehearsal space.

The atmosphere at Cincy Dance is always welcoming and fun, catering to people of all levels, from the absolute beginner to the advanced student. Classes are offered in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Pointe, Hip Hop, Technique and Fitness. Ages 3- Adult, Beginner- Advanced. The studio has also hosted workshops with dancers from touring Broadway shows as well as dancers touring with major recording artist. The studio also offers competitive dancing with our team, The Cincy STARS! The STARS have won numerous achievements including, 2017 Industry, Dance Award nominees, NexStar & Applause 2017 Most Entertaining Choreography,Star Systems Top Teachers 2017, Starsystems Top Studio Award 2017,2017 & 2015 KAR Video of the week winner, 2015 National Champions, Most Entertaining Dance Group and numerous other high scores, scholarships and judges awards during their 10 seasons.


lauren andrewsLauren Andrews
Owner / Instructor
Lauren began her dance training in Richmond, Virginia and since the age of 8 dreamed about sharing her passion for dance with others. After studying at numerous studios in Virginia, Lauren was inducted into the Richmond Ballet during Fall of 1996, making her the youngest member to receive the honor. Shortly after studying ballet, Lauren begin to make a name for herself on the competition circuit winning many ballet, lyrical, tap and jazz solo awards. In 2000 Lauren was selected to be a member of the 2001 Dance Caravan Kids, traveling the nation performing and assisting in workshops. Also during that summer Lauren took the main stage in Walt Disney World to perform a variety of dance forms. After high school Lauren was asked to join Manhattan Dance Project's founder Bill Hotaling and his dance troupe to complete an intensive dance program in New York City. Lauren has since been involved in the performance and choreography groups at the Miss Virginia pageants and Virginia Special Olympics. Her dance education spans around Virginia, the Carolina's and the prestigious Broadway Dance Center in New York City. In addition to the studio, Lauren was also head coach for the Saint Ursula Academy High School Dance Team during the 2007-2010 seasons. In 2018 she was awarded the Top Teacher award from StarSystems for Tap choreography. Lauren continues her dance education by attending workshops and taking class from world renown choreographers. She always brings fresh ideas and cutting edge choreography back to the studio, while focusing on dance technique. Her upbeat personality and creative energy helps motivate students in each class. As she begins her 11th year as director of the studio's competition team, Cincy STARS, she hopes to add to their growing collection of achievements and looks forward to delivering more national championship routines!

ricky mesinaRicky Mesina
Guest Choreographer /Graphic Designer
As original member of the Cincy Dance Studio team, Ricky is known as an  innovative hip hop dancer & choreographer, Ricky has developed material for several dance troupes in Southwest Ohio and Indiana, and was also featured in a National BET Hip Hop Dance Competition. Ricky’s unique hip hop choreography has caught the eyes of many of the years.  In addition to many awards winning dances, Ricky’s 2017 “Shake & Bake” routine was nominated for 2017 Industry Dance Award! Ricky is a 2006 graduate of Ball State University and now resides in Costa Mesa, CA where we works as a graphic designer, but still choreographs for our competition team and designs artwork for both the studio and yearly recitals.




mollieMollie Sadler
Mollie has been dancing since the age of 5 and continues to share her passion for dance through teaching. She has trained for 20 years in ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, musical theater, hip hop and pom. Mollie competed at a regional, state and national level in a variety of styles, routines and solos. Her training took her to a collegiate level at Miami University where her team placed in the top ten in the nation for 3 consecutive years at NDA College Nationals. She went on to graduate as a two-time All-American. Today, Mollie enjoys taking classes (especially jazz!) from top choreographers in the industry to bring fresh and creative ideas to Cincy Dance Studio and the Cincy STARS. She brings an upbeat and high energy atmosphere to the studio and challenges students to push themselves in every class.




arinArin Contra
Arin's love for dance began at the age of 3. She is an accomplished dancer and teacher in the Cincinnati area and has trained in multiple styles, such as, ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip-hop. Arin began her teaching career in 2008 at Cincy Dance Studio, LLC. She then attended the University of Kentucky where she served as Alpha Delta Pi's Art Director, responsible for costumes, props and designs for the organizations' performances. Arin then returned to Cincinnati to further her education and continue teaching. Arin recently received her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. She now works as a Mental Health Specialist at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and teaches dance at multiple studios in Cincinnati. Arin also teaches for non-profit organizations in the area. In the summer of 2016, The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati contracted Arin to begin a summer dance program. She is also teaching for the Cincinnati Academy of Preforming Arts. Arin uses her education in counseling to teach dance by choosing age appropriate activities that will demonstrate proper technique in multiple styles of dance. As one of the original dancers at Cincy Dance Studio, LLC, Arin is thrilled to contribute to the studios' growth while sharing her love for dance in a creative and fun way for her students!


kristin smithKristin Smith
Kristin is from Kansas City, Missouri, where she started ballet at the age of 3 at Classical Ballet North. As she started to get more serious with ballet she started training with the Kansas City Ballet and attended summer intensives on scholarship at the Pacific Northwest Ballet, Boston Ballet and Houston Ballet. In 2013 she received top 12 at the Youth America Grand Prix and was invited to the finals in New York. After attending Houston Ballet's summer intensive she was invited to attend their year round, all-day academy where she graduated in 2014. She then had the opportunity to be a trainee with the Kansas City Ballet Company for two seasons. Most recently Kristin has danced with the Cincinnati Ballet in their second company during the 2016-2017 season. Some of her favorite repertoire has been Septime Webre's Alice in Wonderland, Devon Carney's Swan Lake and Giselle, Andre Prokovsky's Three Musketeers and Kirk Peterson's Coppelia.


Erika Cane
Since her late start in her dance career at the age of fourteen, Erika has trained rigorously in styles of hip hop, jazz, pom, lyrical and ballet at multiple studios in Chicago, where she is originally from. She taught classes at various studios there throughout high school and choreographed for nationally ranked all-star teams, helping them earn first place titles in the hip hop division before moving to Cincinnati. While Erika still works with high school dance teams in Chicago, she has also spent her time here as a previous instructor for the Dance Realm, teaching workshop classes for studios like Dance Expressions, and is now a proud instructor at Cincy Dance. Erika is going into her fourth and final season as a member of the University of Cincinnati Dance Team. During her time with the program she and her team have won both a 1st place national championship title in 2017 and a 1st place world championship title in 2016. She also maintains her training by attending conventions like Monsters of Hip Hop, Velocity, Radix and Nuvo as often as possible, as she has a passion for growing in style and learning new teaching methods from world recognized choreographers. Erika is adamant about helping all dancers obtain equal opportunity to learn and push themselves. She believes in her students, no matter how vast or little their experience is, and will do anything to help them achieve their goals. With a massive focus on teaching self motivation, mental toughness and the value of earning success, she teaches classes where students can feel proud of themselves, encourage one another and fall in love with the art that is dance.


SavannahSavannah Sexton
Savannah Sexton has been involved with the entertainment industry from a young age. She first began her dance training at the age of 3, where she studied technique at top studios, throughout the country. Savannah continued sharing her passion of dance by teaching at Just Off Broadway, in 2009. From 2010-2013 Savannah was a member of the University of Cincinnati Dance Team. While on team, she had the opportunity to travel with the team to represent, The United States of America, in Pom and Hip Hop. Savannah is proud to say the team won Gold in both divisions. Since then, she has had the pleasure of choreographing for multiple studios, artists, and High School competition teams. This includes, Clark Montessori High School, Moonbeau, Bootsy Collins, and many more. She continues to teach the art of dance at local studios and has had multiple awards in creating many top scores and first overall dances in the categories of Hip Hop, Pom, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Contemporary and Gymnastics. Savannah has also received many Specialty Awards at various competitions for choreography, costume design, and visuals. In 2018, Savannah's contemporary choreography recently won a National Championship along with a choreography award. She was also nominated for "Top Jazz Routine of The Year" by the Industry Dance Awards, one of the most prestige award shows for dance.

Along with teaching and choreographing, Savannah has obtained her Personal Trainers License and teaches adult fusion classes incorporating her hip hop training with workout techniques. She is enthusiastic about healthy lifestyles and looks forward to the growth of her business, "Savy Innovation". Savannah continues frequent travels to LA and NYC to learn from many acclaimed choreographers who teach at top studios. She has been featured in numerous class videos reaching over 1 million views on YouTube. Savannah is also a fresh, emerging DJ for the city of Cincinnati and plans to continue her career in the industry, influencing the youth to learn confidence, professionalism, courtesy, commitment, and persistence.
